In order to guarantee that the heat treat/vacuum furnace consistently and precisely produces the same quality components without variation, the Temperature Uniformity Survey (TUS) is an essential component of the overall equipment performance and validation. Temperature mapping is used to assess whether a storage space—such as refrigerators, freezers, rooms, warehouses, and incubators—can maintain a temperature within predetermined ranges. To ensure that the unit or area operates within predetermined set points, sensors are positioned throughout in predetermined locations.

The temperature can differ by up to 10°C from one place to another, regardless of whether it is in a freezer, huge cool room, tiny refrigerator, or warehouse. The corners of the space being measured will most likely have a different temperature than the centre. Using temperature mapping, you may record any hot or cold spots that are observed and pinpoint the locations that need to be continuously monitored.

By using our temperature mapping services, you will get a detailed report explaining the various temperature points at defined locations. This ensures that your products are processed, tested, and stored at the correct temperature and humidity levels, minimizing your risk of product loss or damage.
